Home visits.

For most people it works well, with one big advantage: we practise on your own stairs, bathroom and garden path. Yoshiki brings the equipment needed, and if you ever need something only a clinic has, he'll tell you.

Homes, retirement villages and residential aged care across Brisbane's southside, the Redlands and the Gold Coast. Travel is included in our core area, from Coorparoo and Bulimba out to Cannon Hill and Carindale, with a flat $40 per visit elsewhere on the southside, such as Mt Gravatt, Sunnybank, Wynnum or Cleveland (Redlands visits are by arrangement). Gold Coast: by arrangement, with travel quoted when you book.

We call you back the same day if you request before 3 pm on a working day (Monday to Saturday, except public holidays). Taking new clients now: first visits usually within 4 days.

Your visit is booked for a set time, for example 1 pm. I drive between homes all day, so traffic or an earlier visit running long can hold me up. Please allow up to 2 hours after the booked time. I'll call or text you if I'm running late. If I can't make it within those 2 hours, there's no charge to move the visit.

Yes. We visit retirement villages and residential aged care, and work alongside the care team.

It takes 60 minutes. We talk about your goals and health, check your movement and balance, look at your home set-up, start a few exercises and leave you with a written plan.

It depends on your goals. We agree a plan together with clear review points, so you always know where you're up to.

Your medication list, your Medicare, DVA or NDIS details, any referral or hospital letters, comfortable clothes and a clear path to walk. Family are welcome to join.

Yes, and we encourage it. Family can join the visit in person or by phone, and it often helps to have someone who can practise the exercises with you between visits.

Yes. Just tell us when we call. Stairs are often part of the plan, a small space is fine, and a friendly dog can stay in another room during the visit.

Fees and funding.

Your first visit is 60 minutes for $240, including a written plan. Follow-ups are 60 minutes for $210, 45 minutes for $170 or 30 minutes for $120. Travel is included in our core area, with a flat $40 per visit elsewhere on the southside and in the Redlands. Gold Coast visits are by arrangement, with travel quoted when you book.

Yes. If your extras cover includes physiotherapy, we claim your rebate on the spot with HICAPS, so you only pay the gap.

Not for private visits. Medicare needs a GP chronic condition plan referral, and DVA needs a referral from your GP, surgeon or hospital team. A Medicare care plan referral doesn't have to name us, so you can bring one you already have.

Yes, with a chronic condition management plan from your GP. Medicare pays a rebate of $63.40 on up to 5 allied health visits a year, so a 30-minute visit leaves a gap of about $57. The referral doesn't have to name us.

Not for your visits. With a Gold Card, or a White Card for an accepted condition, and a referral from your GP, surgeon or hospital team, DVA pays us directly. There's no gap and no travel charge. The one exception is a visit cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice: DVA doesn't pay for missed visits, so that fee is yours.

Yes, if you're self-managed or plan-managed and physio is part of your plan. We charge within the NDIS price limits and send invoices to you or your plan manager.

Yes. We work with your Support at Home provider, who pays for visits from your budget at the agreed rate. Ask your care partner to send us a referral, or call us and we'll help you ask.

Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move a visit. A visit cancelled with less notice, or missed because nobody is home, is charged at the full visit fee. NDIS and Support at Home visits follow their scheme's rule of 2 business days' notice, and are charged to your plan or provider as those rules allow. DVA and Medicare don't pay for a missed visit, so DVA and Medicare clients pay the fee themselves.

For health professionals.

Use the referral form on our For referrers page. It takes about two minutes and accepts documents, or you can email or call us. We contact your client the same day.

An initial assessment summary after the first visit, progress reports at plan review, and a discharge summary. GPs receive a report when the care plan needs one.

More good days at home.

Tell us a little about what's going on and Yoshiki will call you back. Request by 3 pm, we ring the same day.
